For 60 years the Teterin family built the business to become an industry leader for the reconditioning and rebuilding of engines and engine components. In its 60th year the company entered a new era with the acquisition of the Teterin Group of Companies by Mr. Peter Burgess on 6 March 2007.

Since the acquisition, Teterin Engineering has remained focused on its core business which is the provision of skilled and talented employees to the operation of sophisticated and specialised machine tools used to re-machine diesel engine components to original manufacturer specifications and rebuild industrial diesel engines from the Mining, Marine, Defence, Rail, and Transport industry sectors.

The new era at Teterin Engineering embraces a high performance work culture focused on an uncompromising commitment to employee health and safety and sustainable environmental practices. The objective is to grow the company by creating value for; our customers; the company owner, and; reward our employees for results. Central to creating value for our customers is our commitment to continuous improvement by monitoring and measuring the performance of our management systems to ensure the companies core values are being up-held.

The company executive team has a strong commitment to growth of the business by creating value for our customers in Australia and the Asia/Pacific region. The company places high value on win-win business relationships and sets standards of world-class performance for itself. Such values and standards are intended to align Teterin Engineering with its customers and also differentiate itself from competitors.

Today, the Teterin Group of Companies comprises Teterin Engineering and Teterin Supply with a total of 62 employees operating from the engineering workshops at Islington, Newcastle NSW and the industrial product supply warehouse at Muswellbrook NSW.
