Teterin Engineering was established in 1947 by Mr. Alex Teterin. For 60 years the Teterin family built the business to become an industry leader for the reconditioning and rebuilding of engines and engine components. In its 60th year the company entered a new era with the acquisition of the Teterin Group of Companies by Mr. Peter Burgess on 6 March 2007.
Since the acquisition, Teterin Engineering has remained focused on its core business which is the provision of skilled and talented employees to the operation of sophisticated and specialised machine tools used to re-machine diesel engine components to original manufacturer specifications and rebuild industrial diesel engines from the Mining, Marine, Defence, Rail, and Transport industry sectors.

Today, the Teterin Group of Companies comprises Teterin Engineering and Teterin Supply with a total of 62 employees operating from the engineering workshops at Islington, Newcastle NSW and the industrial product supply warehouse at Muswellbrook NSW.
