Apprentice Nathan Powell wins NSW TAFE award
Teterin Engineering's aspiring apprentice employee, Nathan Powell, was awarded FIrst Place for Excellence in SBAT/TVET Fitting & Machining along with a trophy presented by the Head of Fitting & Machining at Glendale TAFE, Andrew Gill.
Nathan Powell attended Glendale TAFE whilst completing a School Based Apprentice Traineeship Metals & Engineering Certificate 2 during Years 11 & 12 at Cardiff High School.
This is the first of such awards presented by the NSW TAFE institution and Teterin Engineering is proud to have Nathan as part of the team.
Nathan was presented by the NSW TAFE with a socket set from J.B.S for his achievement at TAFE.
Teterin Engineering also presented Nathan with a $250 gift certificate for the purchase of tooling and accessories at Teterin Supply, Teterin's sister company based in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Nathan Worked at Teterin Engineering over this two year period and will continue working with the company in the remaining three years as an Apprentice Fitter & Machinist.
Nathan's skills shown at TAFE are highly reflective of his quality of workmanship in machining and he clearly has a bright future within the company.
